- • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- • 12 oz linguine
- • 6 cloves garlic, minced
- • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- • 1/4 cup dry white wine
- • 2 tbsp lemon juice
- • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Method
1. Bring a large pot of well-salted water to boil. Cook linguine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
2. Pat shrimp completely dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Transfer to a plate.
4. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the same skillet. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Add white wine and lemon juice and let bubble 1 minute.
6. Add drained pasta and toss to coat, adding pasta water as needed. Return shrimp to the skillet.
7. Toss everything together, top with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes, and serve immediately.
